Writers Are
Writers are philosophers.
Writers are thinkers.
Writers are readers.
Writers are lace makers.
Writers are quality makers.
Writers are blacksmiths.
Writers are shape shifters.
Writers are creators.
Writers are seers, explorers, map makers, world builders.
Writers have chosen to be in this world, yet not OF it.
Writers are the hearth makers.
Writes are the thirst quenchers.
Writers are the arrow as well as the archer and the bow.
Writers are the breezes that signal new beginnings.
Writers are the building blocks of anything that lasts.
Writers are the phenomena spoken of in scripture
“And the words became flesh and dwelt among us.”
Writing may be among the most high calling
For words are the bridges
Between all worlds.

Your Story. Your Essence.
Which line above spoke to you? I firmly believe that writing is a high calling. And yet it is not one that is out of reach. In fact, it calls to each of us every single day in some form, in some way. Inviting us to write down the ideas, genius moments, or random recipes that keep presenting themselves. To capture your writing you only need pen and paper. To turn your writing into a manuscript or book you need time. To write your book you need a simple way to recognize patterns, organize your thoughts, and write the content in such a way that makes the reader want to keep reading.
I have successfully written and published fifteen books. I have given much of my life towards understanding patterns and how patterns evolve into stories. Into manuscripts. Into books.
Join me for the next Impact Writing Weekend and discover your purpose for writing your story, crafting your message, starting or finishing your manuscript. I will be sharing how my process allowed me to write and publish three National Best-Sellers as well as twelve other books. My prayer for this weekend is to remind each writer of why they must write.
Registrations are open for the October 24-26, 2025 Impact Writing Weekend in San Diego, CA. This particular weekend will offer both in person and online participants. If you are unable to attend in person consider attending online for the October Impact Writing Weekend.

I had the great privilege to be on the last writers' weekend and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is continuing to be transformative for all in our group beyond our wildest dreams. Laurie Beth and Shelly are blessed with amazing vision and take the group on a unique journey of growth and understanding. As I read this post, I recognise us all in there and see that a sign of Laurie Beth's open heartedness and thirst for new life and new growth. Thank you to you both.
